Lettering and Typography

I have a massive interest in typography.
I don't know why, but i think it's so interesting how
a bit of text can form an amazing piece of art.

One designer i've been following is Andrei Robu.
He's work is so detailed and out of this world.

whenever i see his work, it gets my creative juices flowing.

Here is some of his work. http://andreirobu.com

each image says the same thing, but done with different fonts and text.

Some images i found online on google imges are just as good.
infact they are so good, there not just a piece of work, it's a major work of art.

in all seriousness, forget i mentioned i liked it,
and looked at it like you've never seen anything like this before.
how amazing is it?
Think of the detail, and how creative this is.
WOW.

another brilliant example of this imagery is from Steve Butabi.
this text image shows lots of thing,
how detailed is it?
how much time and effort went into it?
The shading and colouring.

all the above, are from one guy, he's called Craig ward.
He's work is also inspiring.
so intricate and detailed.
but yet again so time consuming.
He also has a website too.

Moving on from Typo now, onto lettering.
as much as i love typo, lettering is just as good!

again, see how much detail goes into these pieces of art?

it must take so much to get it perfect.
if you working on a piece of art like this, you would soon
become a perfectionist, - if you wasn't already.

HOMEMADE TYPO.
A close friend of mine followed a Photoshop tutorial, and this was his outcome.

He used 4 different fonts, with the text saying PAUL.
also a colour overlay, and a rang of brushes.
pretty damn cool i'd say.

I made a piece of typo.
clearly, i need lots of practice.
